Can this cooler handle the i5 8600k effectively? Also, does it work with Trident ZR RAM?

These processors don't reach very high overclocks. They tend to get warm. My quiet H100i v2.0 is now much noisier than before, maintaining around 70°C during gameplay such as BF1 while running an i5 8600k at about 70°C under load. With a 5.0ghz overclock, you might achieve around 4.6ghz if your system is lucky with the stock Vcore. If that works for you, I'd say it's acceptable.
