My gaming experience is consistently poor, even when using reduced graphics settings. I’m seeking guidance on how to improve this situation. My computer is a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 gaming laptop, and its specifications are as follows:

Processor: i7-7700HQ @2.8GHz
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050TI

1050 Ti, I wouldn´t expect more than your results. What settings did you run the benchmark at?
How hot is your processor reaching? It’s possible that the CPU, instead of the graphics card, is limiting its performance.
