I set up the new motherboard and power supply into my existing system and have noticed the CPU debug light activating during cold starts and restarts. Resetting it resolves the problem. I experienced this before about a year ago on a B450 tomahawk max ii after updating the BIOS; reverting to the older version fixed it. Anyone have advice? My rig includes a Ryzen 5 3600 B550 MPG, plus 32GB GSKILL Aegis RAM, an RTX 2070, and a PSU from RM 650.
I didn't note that I've updated the latest bios to 1f yet; I've only tested 1e. Right now I'm using version 1d, but results remain unchanged. The display stays black while RGB on the mouse and keyboard stays off, but fans, GPU, and AIO lights work properly.
Update - It turns out my RAM isn't working well with the motherboard when XMP is turned on. I've turned it off and it's running fine at normal speed. The RAM model is F4-3000C16S-8GISB. Anyone have suggestions for compatible options, especially from Corsair? I'm looking for something around £100 for 32GB.
