Debug code for Gigabyte X299 Gaming labeled E3
I realize I might not be assisting effectively, even though I understand building computers. The BIOS seems uncertain to me; I’ve looked it over, but if I don’t update it, could there really be any issues? The debug code worked and started Windows, so I’m not sure if anything is seriously wrong.
What I discover when searching online leans toward simply abandoning it.
I’ve figured it out. After installing App Center back on my PC and restarting the debug code, it switched back to AO. When loading on the desktop, it tries to update and changes to version 25. If I uninstalled the program, it reverts to E3—the problem I was facing. Should I just keep the app running instead of updating it, or is there no point in doing that? I don’t really see a need for it and could even stop it from starting up.
Turned off automatic updates during Windows startup but still feels the need to refresh the software. Either skip the warning or remove the app and try debugging again—I understand why it’s happening now. A BIOS update might not solve this software problem.
