Your Debian setup isn't detecting the speaker connected through AUX. After searching online, it seems there might be no official solution for this issue. You may need to check your audio drivers or hardware configuration.

It's an AMD 4600G. I've tested various speakers and two headsets, but nothing appears in the sound settings after plugging them in. In the settings, it shows 'nomachine audio out' and 'in' when connected via Nomachine. I'm unsure how to access the logs.

You might not have an active driver installed, so you could try using hdjackretask. Also, check which audio server you're connecting to.

It’s actually problematic to run a Linux system on a laptop with an Intel CPU alongside an AMD-powered PC. Many drivers won’t work properly.
