It should function, though I anticipate it might be a bit shaky. I’m leaning toward Lubuntu or Tiny Core for a smoother experience.

I suggest giving it a shot! It worked well on an i7 620MHz with 2GB RAM, spinning 300GB HDD—performance is solid even with a Windows OS. The main concern is the outcome, not speed.

You might want to test Ubuntu 19.04 since it uses the newest compilers, ensuring strong performance. I just set up Debian and don’t think it’s very reliable.
