It wasn't long after that tragic incident when people started discussing it. I recall the situation unfolding and thought, "This timing is terrible and could spark a lot of controversy." Personally, I find it even worse than the idea of 50 shades of grey in a fanfic. It seems like someone was trying too hard to be edgy, reaching LizardSquad levels of overdoing it. If this gets approved, I'm ready to quit PC gaming altogether and think the community is just a bunch of slow thinkers. Greenlight has already faced problems with people who vote for bad games just for fun, but this one really bothers me. We're already at the bottom with those who say games make you "blah blah blah" and that gamers always need to defend themselves. When we face such nonsense, it escalates from overreactions to something even bigger like GTA. The gaming world doesn't need this mess, and if it succeeds, the "PC Gamer Master Race" will rank way lower than someone buying a Mac Pro just for gaming.
A lot of things pass through Greenlight each day. This game isn’t particularly unique. If you’re making such a choice, it suggests you have other issues on your mind.
It gets a bit draining when the concept of greenlight is shat on all the time. This is 3edgy5me the game with no redeeming qualities, the amount of likes from that like is cringe worthy.
The argument has merit. It's just a game, but still a game. We can't hold people entirely responsible for their actions, especially when it comes to such trivial matters. People often misunderstand the concept of blame, and this situation will likely spark a lot of criticism.
