I'm here with a friend who's facing an issue—he receives a blue screen of death. I've sent the bad_system config_info and shared three suggestions: first, restore the system to a previous point before the crash; second, perform a startup repair; third, reset the PC. Are there any other recommendations you'd like to try?

Typically when this BSOD appears, people first attempt to restore using a restore point. However, I've noticed missing features in the Advanced Settings section on the Windows Repair Screen. If you can't create a restore point and the Start-Up Repair fails again (indicating a Boot Configuration Data problem), I'd consider installing fresh media.

Absolutely, I shared the same thought as you—always good to consult others for alternative perspectives.

It might be a failing hard drive.
