I'm facing some startup issues with my PC. Usually I disconnect it from power when not in use. When I turned on the desktop, the screen went black—no output at all. Other devices powered on, including the motherboard and GPU, but nothing functioned. I tried pressing keys and moving the mouse, yet no response. I assumed the monitor was off, but it received power. After a restart, it worked fine. I checked my desktop, cleared the disk with Windows cleanup, and restarted again—everything operated smoothly. Even when I powered off and then powered it back on, it still worked. I lack a backup power system, so I wonder if a power cut during operation caused problems before. I remember a BIOS warning about the CPU fan, which I hadn't connected during setup. I reset the BIOS to defaults, set the fan to ignore, and saved changes. Everything functioned correctly afterward. I also tried a Windows disk check once or twice, but stopped the device and cut power, then restarted. Now I'm uncertain what's wrong—battery or something else? It might be the battery issue. I plan to replace the batteries and wait a few days. I'm seeking advice from others who've dealt with similar problems, as it would save me troubleshooting time. My system runs Windows 11 Professional (x64), AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, and I'm still trying to figure this out.
