Deal with the 10 RAM problem!
No one else seems to be facing these issues with Windows 10. Your memory usage spikes after booting, and even when idle, the system runs processes that consume large amounts of RAM. It might be related to background services or resource-heavy applications. Have you checked for updates or disabled unnecessary programs? If you found a relevant discussion, feel free to share the link and I’ll close this thread. Thanks!
The information stored in RAM gets cleared each time the device powers off, which means it’s hard to say things are saved during startup. Even though some initialization happens when booting, if the system is so unresponsive that you can’t press the power button, the RAM might be completely empty. If a power cycle restores functionality, I’d like to understand how to fix this issue.
Ensure all drivers are completely refreshed. There have been updates about some drivers experiencing memory issues.
Apologies to anyone who attempted to fix the problem. I've gone back to version 7 during my trip  Everything got updated, and it was essentially a fresh installation (upgrading 7 to 10).
Looking for a way to end the discussion without signaling completion. Avoid changing the status to "solved" to keep the conversation clear for others.
You're unable to proceed. The discussion will end by itself. Most users start with page 1. You might discover fresh perspectives when revisiting Windows 10 later, perhaps after the next major release.
I understand you're back to version 7, but I don't believe it's related to a Windows 10 problem. From what I've noticed, RAM performance looks similar to Windows 8.1, and on my machine the usage is much lower than in Windows 7. If it had launched earlier, I might not have upgraded to more than 8GB last year.
