Tried ddu because my 570 was slow recently. Probably used it incorrectly. I can't adjust the GPU fan speed after installing Radeon Software. What should I do? What steps did I take? PC feels slower now. Help would be really appreciated. Thanks.

The installation isn't correct. Avoid using DDU unless absolutely necessary. Keep following the steps. I'll verify the driver again—make sure it's properly set up. It doesn't appear to be in good condition.

Run the Radeon uninstaller. Follow DDU in safe mode by pressing F8 right before Windows starts. Attempt to install the newest Radeon driver. Perform a clean install only, and disable any unnecessary software (mark them as not needed). (Footnote: Remove everything listed if it's already installed too)
