Your laptop with an RTX 380 and Windows 11 experienced frequent video TDR blue screens. Following the DDU tutorial from Jayztwocents, the issue persisted with a system thread exception that wasn't handled. After rebooting, it returned to video TDR. Since your device is now nearly unusable due to these crashes, you might want to try the following steps: check for firmware updates, run a full disk check, perform a clean boot, or consider professional repair. Let me know if you need more details on any of these options.

Your laptop is covered under warranty. I’ll reach out to their support team to resolve the problem on your behalf. Have you checked the logs to confirm the issue was due to the NVIDIA driver?

Checked all systems before starting the DDU. If not, the issue arose from something affecting the display driver installation.

It was frequently blue screen before DDU, so I was hoping DDU would resolve the issue.

You should examine the logs for error messages, unusual activity, or performance issues that indicate the problem.

Check the event viewer. It might not have the exact name, but it should appear near the reboot time.

From the Nvida website, reviewing event logs shows it isn't even Nvida drives that are causing the problem as I believed.

Thanks for confirming the suggestion—I just verified it's the Alienware Command Center that's triggering the problems.

I’d try running DDU once more, this time opting to download drivers directly from Windows Update rather than installing them online. Then observe the system’s behavior. DDU won’t destroy hardware, but it could cause software issues.
