DDR5 support paired with XMP profiles and EXPO tuning options.
What makes you choose both options? Are you using Intel or AMD hardware?
These Silicon Power, Klevv and Teamgroup sets work with both options. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/scFmP6/...xlwu60afde https://pcpartpicker.com/product/PxTZxr/...80-60a300h https://pcpartpicker.com/product/H9CZxr/...00hc30dc01 I recall from firsthand that G.Skill's EXPO line is exclusive to EXPO only.
For improved compatibility and support across both Intel and AMD platforms.
But isn't it "Once you start with G. Skill, you can't go back"? It's unclear how often the original poster will take RAM from an AM5 setup and transfer it to an Intel system. I'd use an XMP profile from G. Skill and move forward, since I think they haven't disabled XMP restrictions in EXPO like they did previously.
XMP and EXPO are merely enhancing the "presets" profiles. AMD chips can interpret both, and it seems Intel boards are capable of doing the same. (I found images from a few years back showing a Gigabyte board with an EXPO profile applied, but I don’t have direct experience or reports from others.)
