I just assembled a brand new setup from the ground up, my previous rig was a pre-made unit from about six or seven years back. I acquired the Corsair 5000x case, a Z690-E motherboard, a 3070TI chipset, and two 16GB DDR5 5.2Gb RAM sticks from Corsair. I upgraded to two 16GB DDR5 5.6Gb RAM sticks at 5600MHz from Corsair, swapped out the 5200MHz for the 5600MHz units and pushed them up to 6000MHz. I’m wondering if I can swap the two 5600MHz sticks into a different channel without damaging anything. And please, don’t even mention the ICUE software—it’s really not worth it.

I believe you're going to ruin your overclock attempt. You can give it a try—it won't cause any damage. The worst outcome would be random restarts or boot failures, which isn't catastrophic. iCue stands out compared to nearly all other programs. It doesn’t allow memory overclocking, only RGB adjustments. I’m curious you haven’t complained about Armoury Crate from ASUS. That’s a real letdown!

The cue was a separate process. I can't keep any profile active. I adjust the lighting for my RAM and then tap on my H150i AIO, which brings it back to white. I configure the AIO to match my desired colors and screen settings, then switch to fans, and it reverts to the default. Nothing preserves anything. It always returns to white. I’m not familiar with the BIOS setup and took a long time to successfully overclock both the RAM and CPU. I have an i9 12900K and managed to boost it with just one 6-pin connector, as my power supply only has that. It went from 25k on Cinebench to 28.5k after CPU overclocking. I’m unsure if missing the other pin is problematic, but it works fine and runs without issues.

Which power supply unit are you employing? It seems odd to have six pin cables for the CPU.

It's wiser to use two sticks unless you require additional space.
