I've noticed multiple benchmarks recently, especially after AMD announced their 9850X3D. Most reports suggest the performance gap is modest, though slightly larger than what AMD initially stated.

More than 1% adds up to a significant amount, depending on whether it's a tight budget situation. Such scenarios often arise when budgets are limited, and improvements beyond 1% aren't prioritized.

For GPU work when you have sufficient VRAM, it doesn’t significantly affect performance. It might matter more for physics simulations, etc. I achieved the top 3Dmark scores on an 9060xt with 16GB RAM using Oculink (PCI 4.0x4). While it’s great to maximize scores, a 5% improvement usually goes unnoticed in practice.
