If you possess a single stick, a knowledgeable person might identify the type of RAM module you have. Just a fun fact. AX5U5600C4632G-SLABWH thanks you ahead of time.

for oc sticks consider klevv/hynix 5600c46 or teamgroup 5600c46 since they’re Hynix-based dies. i’m just assuming you’re into OC, not RAM ICS unless specified.

I'm looking for affordable sticks to start running. Did you think it's feasible to adjust the timing settings on this stick platform? — CasoF13

country? which affordable choices exist? The team group above is typically more affordable, and I wouldn’t waste time on anything not based on Hynix because it would likely fail at both clock performance and tightening requirements.

It's the most affordable choice around at about 88€. They're offering 5600 with 32GB as a single unit (planning to add another later if necessary). I'm okay with the speed but just want to check the timing. Edited August 26, 2024 by CasoF13

Choose a proper 2x16 setup, not a single stick that limits CPU speed. Opt for a Hyundai-based board instead of low-quality options from Micron or Samsung that won’t support tight timings or high-frequency operation when future CPUs demand DDR5 7000+.

From what I know, the stick should still be dual-rank, and it seems like a reasonable choice compared to Intel in recent years. You're aiming for a smooth transition without needing another upgrade soon.

You're experiencing significant slowdowns due to reduced bandwidth and added delay. This suggests a potential issue with memory configuration or system settings. It seems like the performance hit is substantial, possibly requiring more than 32GB of RAM to compensate.

Once more, why? These don't assist much in many tasks.
