Hello, I’m new to assembling PCs but want to build two for my partner. We mainly play games but also use software like Photoshop and Premiere Pro. I have an old system with 64GB DDR4 (4x16GB) at 3333MHz and 16GB RAM sticks. I recently upgraded to a new build with 64GB DDR4 (4x16GB) at 3600MHz and 18GB RAM. My question is how to proceed without going overboard. Should I keep the old 4 sticks or replace them? Is it better to have four 3600MHz sticks instead of two 3600MHz sticks and get rid of the old ones? The new RAM was necessary, so RGB upgrades matter a lot.

Ensuring all four DIMM slots are filled can boost performance slightly.
