DDR4 LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) 4000 MHz CL16 module
Hi, I own a Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) 4000MHz CL16 DDR4 (CMK16GX4M2Z4000C16). At the time I bought it, the specifications seemed solid—low latency and quick data transfer. The 16GB should cover my needs for running multiple apps with windows and streaming. Now I want to upgrade to 32GB, but this model is no longer available. I checked other brands, but they don’t match the same specs. Most listings only mention 4000MHz at CL18 or CL16 at 3600MHz. The current Ryzen 9 5900X EVGA 3080ti and similar systems are at 3600MHz. Any recommendations for faster RAM options that fit my setup? Cheers!
Most 4000 upward kits seem too impractical, offering only minor performance boosts while overloading the memory controller. Consider checking out Crucial Ballistix Max or the top tiers of Team Xtreem ARGB and Gskill TridentZ RGB lines. They’re harder to find, but 3600C14 still makes sense even with a 5900X.
I'm facing a comparable issue. I had two 2x8GB ADATA Spectrix D60G 4133MHz cl19-19-19 units, but the second one arrived with a different model—cl19-23-23. After returning it, I ordered a 2x16GB G.Skill Trident Z 3600MHz cl14-14-14. I’m looking forward to testing performance differences soon, especially before next weekend when I’ll be evaluating DDR4 setups. It’s challenging to push 4000MHz with four sticks, and I’m unsure if it will work at all.
