I wouldn't bother upgrading your ram right now. To me it seems like an unnecessary cost. I would save the money you would've spent and wait for faster DDR5 to come out to even consider upgrading. No need to get the early adopter tax on DDR5.

3200 cl16, 3600 cl18, overclocking is the way to go. Those are the main choices. If you want speed, push it to 4000+ and beyond. High-end kits with big binning won’t help much unless you fine-tune them—subtimings are so bad at that level they barely matter. Binning just gives you average speeds compared to stock, and buying a full kit for that isn’t worth it unless you’re really into it. Tuning rams for performance usually only gives a few percent gain in some cases, and even then it’s not worth the effort unless you’re targeting very specific applications. Most of the time, just run it as is and enjoy the experience. High frequency isn’t useful for real gains; it’s mostly about fun and showing off.
