In short, spent a lot of time watching videos to boost my 2400 MHz DDR4 RAM, but now Thaiphoon isn’t providing the details I need for calculations. Anyone who can help me find alternative ways to get the data or rough timing suggestions would be really useful.

Select the faster memory variant, such as 3000, by referencing the datasheet or using the board's standard settings—they tend to run slower, but stability of the new frequency is what matters most.

I would consider JEDEC defaults, similar to what appears in that example: https://www.kingston.com/datasheets/KVR32N22S8_16.pdf. You might also explore Hynix memory timings from this reference after verifying compatibility. Be cautious when clicking the links, as the site contains questionable advertisements.

The exact memory kit isn't specified. You might find the details on the label attached to the kit. Alternatively, you could try the traditional approach: adjust the voltage to 1.35V, tweak the clock speeds (like 30-30-30-60), increase the frequency until it stops posting, then gradually reduce it until memory stress tests pass. After that, test each setting one at a time by lowering the timings back to the original values until posting resumes, then gradually raise them until successful testing.

there's usually a sticker on the ram with the intended/ default timings. otherwise use cpuz that should tell all the basic timings. your motherboard should as well, especially if it has xmp.

3466? what does blck-oc actually mean? I'm just trying to figure it out because I upgraded my RAM from 3200 to 3600. I changed the voltage to 1.36v (1.35 doesn't seem to work on my MSI boards). I adjusted the SOC and set timings to match what they would normally be for 3600 MHz RAM. I didn't do a full "blck-oc" test, but it's stable so far—no crashes in about two years. Also, no performance boosts, just trying to keep things simple.

I believe the black component is similar to the old front-side bus from the northbridge era. It was used briefly to boost Intel CPUs when they didn’t lock them on non-K processors, though I don’t think this applies to Ryzen since CPU and memory overclocking is enabled across all chips.

It seems the discussion is from a long-standing thread, originally around 7 years ago, when BCLK overclocking was possible before Intel restricted it again.
