Gather 'round, fellow enthusiasts! I reach out to those who still enjoy the DayZ Mod—Vanilla, Epoch, Overwatch, Overpoch, whatever you prefer.

It's likely many people enjoy it occasionally, though fewer do so consistently these days.

I occasionally engage in it. Mostly I handle things via DaRT instead of playing.

I keep playing it most of the time, usually just in PvP games. Survival servers feel more like shoot-on-sight, so I stick to them. I think I’m on a few decent servers, but I can’t remember the exact ones. I recall being a bandit who held people hostage, eventually dying, and in my next life becoming a Hero—saving three people from a hostage situation at a fire station while searching for a fire axe to make a fire. That was an awesome day. Roleplaying servers seem to have the strongest communities.

DayZ mod functions well on my older 660m laptop but not on my main PC. Steam fixed some issues with the OA beta, though DayZ Commander still doesn’t run smoothly. Many servers are empty, which affects the experience. I’m playing on Wasteland servers to enjoy a more engaging and enjoyable game.
