Today's performance is better with a Haswell CPU, four-core processor. I've tuned the game to achieve 30-45 FPS in cities using the same GPU and an i5 4690K at 4.4 GHz.

It seems you're starting a discussion about upgrading or troubleshooting something. Could you clarify what you need help with?

That's a solid frame rate for streaming without a secondary machine to record

I use them often because there are no noticeable FPS fluctuations, like during updates or epochs.

It's not just about running it smoothly—optimization isn't guaranteed. For the OP: If you want help boosting performance from 25fps to 45fps, I can share some adjustments I made.

The problem seems to stem from your system rather than the game itself—Bohemia Inc. isn’t the cause.

Not pushing too hard, it runs smoothly. Great visuals? Not great for a weak engine. I’ve had an overclocked i5 and a GTX 970 but still can’t hit over 25 FPS in cities without adjustments. The idea that it’s just hardware is funny to me.

the epoch performs exceptionally well with 50 cities and a 60% boost elsewhere. on altislife performance varies based on player activity and server quality, while my profile specs are adjusted and startup settings are fine-tuned.
