Hello everyone, I’m utilizing the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate, and as a left-handed user, this is my typical method of playing. However, inexplicably, the backslash key – which I use to move right – fails to function in DayZ. I’ve attempted numerous solutions, exhausting all my knowledge.

I've experimented with modifying the hotkey within Razer Synapse to an alternate key; however, upon launching the game, it persistently identifies this new key as a backslash and renders it unresponsive. This issue is specific to DayZ; other games successfully acknowledge any key I assign.

Furthermore, I've installed registry editing programs designed to alter keybindings, and while these tools do modify key assignments in other applications, DayZ continues to interpret the key as its original default, resulting in no operation. I’m uncertain about further troubleshooting steps. Could it be due to my specific hand configuration, perhaps because I acquired the keyboard in Cyprus?

I’m unable to replace the backslash key on my Greek/US keyboard, and because of this, the game won’t allow me to use it as an in-game command.

It seems I'm utilizing a keyboard with ISO and JIS layouts. Could this be leading to any issues?
