Daul OS PC
Daul OS PC
I was thinking about what would happen if someone disassembled an Xbox One, removed the hard drive, and connected it to a PC. They could theoretically boot from the main OS drive—Windows, OS X, or Linux—and switch the boot drive to run modified Windows on the Xbox One or Sony’s PS4 OS. This setup would let you use the console’s disks to play games. However, whether it would actually start or run properly depends on compatibility and system configuration. It’s definitely feasible with a gaming PC, but success isn’t guaranteed.
Everyone else seems to be saying the same thing, right? I just don’t understand why it won’t work.
It would be intriguing. Both firms likely have built-in constraints or limitations. For example, with the PS3, its hard drive is secured, and only signed applications can launch.
Unless you manage to bypass the system by altering the code and removing all limitations (which is extremely unlawful), then no.
