I’ve begun playing CSGO often, but lately I’m getting frustrated because my game keeps disconnecting unexpectedly. It seems like a problem with CSGO itself, since it happens on my Xbox and Chrome too. The odd part is that it usually reconnects after about five seconds. I’m using a Netgear router and an Aris modem. Since I’m not very familiar with this setup, could you help explain what might be causing the issue?

I don't have a specific model, but it may contain the Intel Puma 6 chipset, which is often linked to instability and defects.

The device listed is Arris Touchstone TM1602A using DOCSIS 3.0. I'm uncertain if it's integrated into the router; I located it on Amazon and found a Netgear Nighthawk Smart WiFi Router (R7000) - AC1900.

It looks like your device might be related to a known defect. Checking the site https://approvedmodemlist.com/intel-puma...et-defects can confirm this. Your model (TM1602) appears on the defective chipset list. Consider switching to a modem not listed there that doesn’t have an Intel Puma 6 chipset. Reach out to your ISP about the issue, though they may not understand or help much. Still, it’s worth trying. Ask if you can use a different modem and see if your ISP allows it. If possible, buy a model without the Intel Puma 6 chipset and use it instead.
