You're dealing with a PC file transfer issue where a shortcut links between systems. After replacing the host and installing a new HDD, you'll need to reconfigure the shortcut settings or reinstall the necessary drivers to restore proper functionality.

You could start by giving us way more information. What OS? What error, if any? Details are good here. The more the merrier.

You're asking if you'd like to send a folder over the network.

Windows 10, Windows 7, and Windows XP are installed. The Windows 7 is set as a host while the PCs running Windows 10 and XP connect to it. I can reach certain files on the Windows 7 machine using the Windows XP machine, but I’m unable to access the Windows 7 computer from the Windows 10 one.

This appears to be a question about network configuration. Could you clarify what you mean by "Domain, Workgroup, homegroup" and provide more context about your setup? Details such as whether Active Directory is in use, how shares are configured, and any recent changes will help resolve the issue.
