You're facing a common challenge when upgrading your PC. The 3070 cooler indeed blocks the PCIe Gen3 ×1 slot, and with only four PCIe interfaces available, you're limited. Your case's design might require creative solutions—perhaps using a PCIe expansion card or a different cooler layout. Have you considered checking for alternative slots or exploring aftermarket options?

Also don’t forget your IO shield. Just use a USB version if you want Wi-Fi.

Thank you. USB ports are just as effective as PCIe connections, but PCIe offers better performance. For the IO Shield, it’s a refurbished motherboard, so it won’t work with an IO Shield. Online advice suggested it doesn’t really matter.

Usb ones typically offer lower power efficiency and slower speeds, but that often isn't an issue. No solution for a cable? What's your budget and where you need it?

Does it refer to an Ethernet link? I was advised by my parents that I can't lay an Ethernet cable upstairs since my bedroom is on the opposite side of the house from the router. The budget seems to be about £30 ($40), and I'm in the UK, so buying from Amazon would make sense.

This T4U plus from the TP link is affordable and quite solid.

I would choose this method first instead of using USB Wi-Fi. https://a.co/d/0bGzRHY

The issue lies in my setup because the motherboard aligns with the last of the four PCIe slots, which blocks the card from fitting through the case. This could also affect connectors such as RGB and USB 2.0 headers.

It can be done neatly, if you connect it to a flexible riser. It would be easy to position the antennas outside the case.
