Hello! I have a WiFi card installed on my PC and the router I’m using. I’ll share more about my system later. I’ve been trying to get Wake on Wireless LAN (WoWLAN) to work for about two months now. I’ve done extensive research, adjusted many settings, and made sure the adapter stays active so it can wake from sleep using a magic packet. I also checked my power plan options and confirmed it’s enabled. The BIOS settings are set correctly. I found a discussion that matches exactly what I’m experiencing, even with a WiFi 6 capable card. Despite all my adjustments, the card seems to shut down during sleep. On my router, I see the PC dropping out when it enters sleep mode, which means the magic packet never reaches it. If the PC isn’t visible on the network, the packet won’t deliver. What might be missing or causing this issue?

They located it. If the card lacks power, it won’t function. The board might simply have an unresolved issue that hasn’t been fixed because it’s so uncommon that few people encounter it.

Sorry to hear that. It looks like you might want to file a support request on Asus' site and see if they can help.
