Hello everyone,
I understand this might seem like a stretch now, but do any of you still play Dark Souls 3 with SLI? How are you managing it? Recently, I’ve noticed my GPU frequently switches between 40-60% usage, yet frame rates remain stable when SLI is off—possibly with less stutter. The game claims it supports this well, and I’m pretty sure it was possible not too long ago.

I’m using an Nvidia profile inspector set for Dark Souls 3. I own two GTX 1080 Ti cards and an i7-8086K processor. My frame rate fluctuates between the early 40s and mid-50s. A 50fps is acceptable, but the instability bothers me a lot. Anti-aliasing is disabled, as I recall it helped in Rainbow Six—though on a 4K display that’s still unclear to me.

I’ve updated the drivers, but I suspect this could be the problem (similar to what worked with older titles). Are there specific driver versions that work better for this setup? Also, is it feasible to install multiple graphics drivers at once so you can switch between them depending on which game needs the best performance?

Anyone have any insights? If not, I’m aware SLI can be a bit tricky lately.
