I bought my Powerspec G472 from Microcenter with a one-year warranty. It worked well until recently, except for occasional overheating. Around three weeks ago, dusting my PC with a motorized blower caused random black screens. I tried several fixes—cleaned memory, reset settings, reinstalled drivers—but nothing resolved it. My last clean lasted two days before the issue returned. Now I’m unsure if this is linked to the error code 0x00000139. Should I return to Microcenter or look elsewhere? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

If you paid $100 and they didn’t locate anything, it’s best to reach out again, mentioning the same problem you had earlier. There might be a driver issue. Also, your CPU cooler may not fit the CPU you’re using. Do you know the motherboard model?

I plan to reach out to them tomorrow to get their perspective. The problem seems to be sporadic, so unless the Microcenter staff experiences similar issues for a few hours after each update, it’s hard to believe they’re certain the fix is working.

I understand. Consider updating the Intel ME driver to this version. You likely already have it installed; just note if you attempt an older release: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/...ws-11.html

Also on Windows 11, consider updating the Intel chipset driver: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/PRO-Z690...ort#driver

Installed both drivers but the crash occurred again. Microcenter stated they’ll return it and replace components to pinpoint the problem. Fingers crossed it works out.
