Sorry for the unclear writing, but please wait, Mobo. The ASUS TUF Gaming B450M Plus has a Ryzen 5 2600 CPU, Crucial Ballistix tactical tracer 3000Hz DDR4, and 16GB RAM. I had these components for months after purchasing them from a used market. The previous owner shared a video showing the system working, which matched the date of our conversation and the specs. I assembled everything and it went black, but after testing at two repair centers with different GPUs and power supplies, they couldn’t find any Ryzen parts—only RAM swaps worked. My RAM was fine, but another RAM didn’t fix the issue. The previous owner insisted the motherboard was perfect, had never touched anything, and only updated the BIOS to version 2807 using a flash drive. I’m struggling to figure out why this is happening and would really appreciate your help.
Review the manual for this motherboard—it mentions the "crash free BIOS" option. It might assist in resolving the issue. In the photo, the previous owner clearly misplaced the RAM in slots A1 and B2. Generally, this isn’t a major concern since it’s still dual-channel, but it raises doubts about whether slot A2 or B1 is faulty. Have you experimented with a different RAM setup?
I experimented with various slots, testing one RAM at a time to be certain, but nothing worked. I’m not familiar with the crash-free BIOS option, and I worry that changing BIOS settings could cause issues since I’ve never heard of it.
