Hey! You're aiming to push your system to its absolute limits for as long as possible—great mindset for fun and testing. Here’s what you need to keep in mind:

Understanding the standard 1.35v setting is essential since some CPUs have struggled for years, while others degrade quickly. Going to 1.5v seems risky—it could easily damage the unit. The H80 model won’t support much higher speeds due to its low-end design. These safe operating limits are reliable for stability, but pushing beyond them often leads to unexpected failures. If you aim for longevity, stick with the current configuration; you’ll see minimal performance gains and avoid premature wear.

I have a high-quality cooling paste on my CPU, Arctic Silver 5, and my H80i v2 is running smoothly at 4.7Ghz with 1.4v and a cache clock of 4.4Ghz at the same speed. The temperature never exceeded 85°C during Cinebench. I believe it’s performing well without throttling until around 95°C. Recently, I increased the cache clock to match the CPU and didn’t see any improvement in Cinebench scores. It seems like further tweaks might not be beneficial unless it actually boosts gaming performance. Of course, it could still degrade the system over time. If it lasts a few months, it might work as a low-power server or be discarded eventually.

If no performance gains in cinebench then I doubt there will be any in games.
