Damage detected on x570-E motherboard – two components missing – system fails to boot.
I recently installed the Wraith cooler on my Ryzen 7 3700X system with a ROG Strix x570-E Gaming motherboard, and after turning it on, I didn’t see any immediate changes. I verified all connections were secure, yet nothing happened. When I powered off and then turned the PSU back on, a small red LED near the CPU lights briefly before the motherboard activated. After taking the motherboard out of its case, I found two tiny fragments partially detached around the top left side of the back panel, along with a minor scratch lower down. (refer to attached photos). I’m uncertain about the timing or cause of this damage, but I still have those fragments on the board and a friend who can solder them back in place. It would help if I knew the proper orientation or any specific steps needed to restore functionality. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
