I've noticed my new monitor (Asus Tuf Gaming VG27AQL1A) shuts off briefly every day, sometimes for a day and rarely twice. I've tried resetting the settings and swapping the DP cable in various GPU slots, but the screen still goes black. Previously, I had two identical 24-inch 1080p monitors at 60Hz, now I switched to a 27-inch 1440p display. Even after changing the DP cable position, both screens would black out for a few seconds. It happens occasionally—about every 10 to 12 hours—and hasn't affected gaming sessions, though it might be luck. I'd appreciate any advice on resolving this issue.

Check the newest monitor driver from the official site. Use the latest GPU driver, GPU bios, and motherboard bios for optimal performance.

I encountered a problem when I increased the resolution in two different areas, causing the device to become inconsistent about the displayed resolution.

You seem puzzled about a strange behavior you notice. When your headset is connected, one of your monitors suddenly shows nothing for a few seconds every half hour. Do you think others might be experiencing the same thing?

I've never used a VR headset or connected to someone else's one.

I never encountered talk of super resolution. What resolved the issue?

The issue arises because there are multiple versions, so I opted for a general term. I resolved it by enabling it only once. AMD cards employ fss, whereas Nvidia likely has a different method. For variety, there are several iterations of each. The AMD version includes at least one that functions with Nvidia cards as well. Updated on December 11, 2022 by Bombastinator
