I struggle to understand this situation. After installing a fresh Windows version, I enter Audit mode via SHIFT+CTRL+F3 during the setup screen. In Audit mode, the system logs into the Admin account. I begin setting up customizations—installing Office, Firefox, Team Viewer, WinRAR, Kodi, and activating Windows. Once done, I switch to Audit mode using Sysprep with the command "sysprep.exe /generalize /oobe /shutdown /unattend". My problem is this: when I restart the machine, the user logs in through OOBE and creates a profile. On the desktop, the installed software appears, but some settings fail to transfer. For instance, my customized Kodi setup didn’t move to the new profile, and certain shortcuts on the taskbar didn’t update. I searched online but can’t figure out how to fix it. My aim is to tailor Windows 10 so that when a user gets the machine, they automatically create a profile with their credentials and preferences, ready for immediate use without further adjustments. I’ve heard about the Default profile in Windows 10 and wondered if creating an answer file would help the OS copy settings there so new profiles inherit them. Is this advice correct? What do you think?
