Custom Loop Issue
Custom Loop Issue
This is my initial contribution. I mistakenly shared it in components instead of overclocking, but that’s all that matters now.
Everyone recommended this spot for assistance. I just installed a tailored liquid cooling system into my setup. It includes a 360mm radiator mounted upright, an X4 pump, and an XSPC 270 Res. My CPU is the sole component being cooled.
I lack control over the pump speed since it only connects to SATA. I’ve attempted adjustments, flipped it, spun it around, and even shaken it to expel air. I left it running overnight, and the noise remains quite noticeable. It seems like the pump is striking against the interior walls of its housing—more like a diesel engine starting up. After disassembling it, no blockages were found. Since it’s suspended, I’m certain it isn’t vibrating against my case.
When I flip the entire case upside down while the pump operates to draw more air into the base and then reverse it, it becomes silent for about two minutes before the noise resumes. Any advice or suggestions would be invaluable. I can include photos or videos if needed. This situation is really frustrating. I’m not sure if this is the right path, but I’m open to tips. Thanks in advance for your support.
