You have three PCIe options: 16x, 8x+8x, or 4x+4x+4x. You’re wondering if you can achieve the 8x+4x+4x configuration without a custom BIOS, and if so, what’s simpler.

According to the motherboard's user guide, the final PCIe port shares its bandwidth with the lowest M.2 slot (the one positioned beneath it). You can only utilize one of the two available options—either 16 or 8+8. The third slot is not counted.
