Maybe you can help me figure this out. I just got a new PC two weeks ago—Ryzen 5 5600X, RTX 2060, 2x8GB RAM at 3600MHz. The performance is actually good, so the issue isn’t with the hardware. I’ve noticed my FPS drops significantly compared to others with similar builds or worse, especially in games like Warzone where I’m only getting 55-70 FPS (while others with the same setup get at least 110). I’ve adjusted all settings and used the NVIDIA control panel, but the problem persists. In other games I’m losing about 30-40 FPS (Far Cry 5, RS6, Assassin Creed Odyssey are examples).

Upgrade your BIOS, refresh your AMD chipset software, install your NVIDIA drivers, check for updates in Windows Update, and verify that your RAM operates within its DOCP setting in the BIOS (remember to reapply this after any BIOS changes).

BIOS update can make significant changes, and you've already done several other things in addition to it.

It's crucial for a new computer, so yes, it can and typically does. Also, remember to install chipset drivers!
