My PC has CSGO installed with the following specs: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650, 8GB DDR2 RAM, and a GeForce GT 1030 2GB. I’m checking if my hard drive is limiting performance. Although it doesn’t spin at the highest RPM, I have 60GB free space out of a total 250GB. I’m getting a 500GB SK Hynix Gold SSD, wondering if it will improve my frame rates. Right now I’m running at about 17 FPS, and I need advice on this issue.

In this scenario, the new hard drive or SSD isn't improving your FPS, particularly in CS:GO. The Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 and the GeForce GT 1030 2GB might be the issue.

I've noticed other systems with lower graphics cards running this title, and my CPU usage stays around 60%. Are you certain the problem lies with the CPU or GPU, or something else? Thanks!

Yes, you can view CPU usage per core in Task Manager. Open Task Manager, go to the "Performance" tab, and you'll see detailed CPU statistics broken down by core. If Task Manager doesn't show this, check the system settings or third-party tools like Resource Monitor for more granular details.
