I was just starting out but I got demotivated because some players who don’t understand the game kept dropping points. I ended up ranking around ak1 by Solo Que, just for myself without using any boosts.

Let him enjoy the game and have a good time... it bothers some folks in the CS GO community who criticize lower-ranked players. He should be welcome to compete in comp, regardless of his rank.
