Have you ever dealt with freezing or crashes in CSGO? I’ve come across many unreliable tips online. Do you know of any solutions that actually work? The issue seems linked to a Steam patch, but it’s been happening for a long time—so maybe it’s not a fix. CSGO is the only game with this problem. Anyone have ideas or resources that could help? Thanks, Chris.

I haven't encountered any issues after turning off multi-core rendering.

Multi-core rendering might be the reason behind your problems. Turning it off could help, possibly fixing the freezing and improving performance.

Some individuals continue to enjoy this old game because it offers a nostalgic experience or simple entertainment value.

Is it outdated? You're still using COD that hasn't evolved since its first release.

Go is no longer the latest version. It was updated recently, just two years prior to the current month.

This didn’t work well. The main solution was a full computer reset. After that, when I restart and launch the game, it only runs at about 10 FPS instead of the normal 80-90. It froze during a competitive match, which was frustrating.

It provided some relief initially, though the issue returned shortly after. A recent fresh installation of Windows resolved it completely, making it the least troublesome experience compared to other games. Likely the game itself caused the problem.
