The latest Windows 10 release has caused significant issues with my PC. After updating and reinstalling, I experienced performance drops, especially in CSGO where FPS caps dropped to 60. I thought upgrading would resolve everything, but now it’s capped at 120. I set FPS to unlimited expecting a fix, but the problem persists. Anyone know what to do?

I'm not sure about the exact details. Could you tell me your current Windows version and system specifications? Also, let me know if Vsync is enabled.

Windows 10 recently reverted to a previous version prior to the update. Strong specifications like 970 and an i7 4790K are still present. I doubt VSync was enabled since I never activated it. Prior to this change and after the restore, performance would be around 400fps.

Disable the Xbox DVR feature, update your GPU drivers, and reinstall CSGO. Something should resolve the issue.

I share the same CPU and GPU as you have on SemiSolid1. What I remember is that when I first opened CS:GO, it would cap at 30fps until I switched tabs. To resolve this, I disabled the Xbox DVR feature as Jade suggested.

Hey team, the Xbox function is now working. Odd since I've never used it before and don't own an Xbox.
