My PC specifications are: i7 4790 | 980ti g1 gaming | 16gb DDR3 1600 Mhz RAM. My friend and I recently reinstalled CSGO after two years. We have a 144Hz monitor and require a consistent 150+ FPS. My friend’s system consists of a Ryzen 1600x CPU, RX 580 8GB GPU, and 8gb 2600 MHZ RAM. I achieve an average of 120-160 FPS in competitive mode, while my friend consistently obtains 250-300+ FPS. How is this possible? In other games, my PC performs better than his PC’s. We are playing at 4:3 1440x1080 with all settings set to low! (Two years ago I had higher FPS with similar specifications.) Thank you for your advice!
