Absolutely, remember that when purchasing a game online, you must download its files. Even if you buy a physical disc today, you may still need to download extra content to use it.

The file size after download is approximately 13 GB, just a bit below that amount.

I understand you. Just checking if I could get a better download speed. With my current 2mbps connection, I can handle up to 14 GB before it slows down to 512 Mbps.

I’d consider purchasing it on Steam if CS:GO is discounted...

Sure thing, but you'll still need to get the file. I haven't come across a physical version of this game before. It's roughly 5 to 10 gigabytes in size. I'd go ahead and download it—it's pretty engaging. Not exactly my usual preference, though my friends love it. I tend to prefer Battlefield titles.

It's worth it. You might find yourself in a situation where this is possible.

Purchase the Steam edition and relocate to a region where internet providers don’t neglect users (good rates and no data limits). CS:GO receives updates regularly, typically 500MB to 1000MB, so adjust accordingly. For slightly lower costs, you can also obtain it on g2a.com.

You might still get Steam installed even if you purchase elsewhere, since many people use it to play CS:GO... (and they often download directly from Steam).
