My PC Spec : I3 9100f Sapphire RX 6600 (operating on PCI-E Gen 3) 16 GB 3400Mhz (though limited by motherboard) ASRock B365M-HDV The problem was that the game would freeze repeatedly after just one competitive match lasting about 40-60 minutes, then it would intermittently freeze again, sometimes for long periods without any interruption. It mainly happened in CS2, not in Cyberpunk or other games I’ve played. The CPU stayed at full load constantly, but temperatures remained high around 50-52°C. There were freezes during headshots with spark effects or heavy smoke, yet the system stayed responsive afterward. After a crash, Task Manager opened quickly, and the game ran smoothly on a 144Hz monitor—possibly exceeding 144fps. I tried reducing graphics settings, adjusting AA, ambient occlusion, turning off FSR, using an UPS, installing the latest drivers with AMD Cleanup, reinstalling CS2, disabling water/blood effects, closing RTTS and Afterburner.

It seems like your system is hitting a CPU limitation, always running at full capacity. The i3 9100f isn't strong enough to match the RX 6600's demands.

However, the freeze and crash were confusing since the game ran steadily at about 100-160 frames per second. My other games crashed completely on my CPU, yet they stayed stable, and the OS remained responsive when I opened Task Manager and ended the CS2.exe.
