I recently purchased Crysis 2 on Origin as part of a bundle with Crysis 3, but it keeps crashing. Each time I launch it, it works briefly before freezing completely—everything turns black, the computer restarts, or it returns to the desktop. I’m unsure how to resolve this issue and would really appreciate any guidance you can offer. Your computer specifications are noted: CPU i7-5820k, ASUS X99-Pro motherboard, Windforce GTX 980, 750W XTR series power supply, 16 GB RAM, and LPDDR5X memory.

No, it isn't limited to Crysis 2. The technology and features mentioned can apply to other games as well.

So far, saints row 4 has been experiencing issues, though it appears to have halted.

Consider reinstalling the graphics driver. It’s something that’s occurred to me recently.
