You're not sure about Crysal 2's story? I thought it was okay overall. Playing through Crysal 1 didn't work for me, and Crysal 3 felt average despite its visuals.

The suit was removed quickly because the character mentioned being recognized as human, and the cells in your skin would be harmed if taken off.

You need to experience it at least once to fully understand the conclusion of Crysis 3.

Nanosuits are usually removed under normal circumstances, but in this scenario Alcatraz has to take them off because his suit is essential for survival. Since the suit comes from an alien source, it begins to merge with him, gradually changing his appearance until he becomes almost entirely non-human. In Crysis 2, Prophet’s personality starts dominating, and throughout the game you experience it as Prophet inside Alcatraz’s body—though they still refer to you as Prophet in Crysis 3. It’s quite unusual, honestly. The official Wikipedia entry for Crysis 2 provides a detailed account if you’re interested. Overall, the narrative feels disjointed; Crysis 1 offered a decent story, but Crysis 2 took a different path after the cliffhanger in Crysis 1. I’d blame EA for that shift.

I attempted to play Crysis 3 three times and three times in trimes, but I didn’t manage it. It’s one of the most dull games I’ve ever played.
