Hello, I disabled the Compatibility Support Module to activate the Resisable Bar, but my post times are now excessively long. I’m unsure why or how to fix this. I think the CSM setting affecting post time is related to 'Boot from Storage Devices'. Setting it to 'Ignore' or 'Legacy' gives a quicker boot, while choosing UEFI makes the process much slower. I suspect that when CSM was turned off, I defaulted to UEFI mode. I don’t understand the terminology, so I’m not confident about the next steps. Any assistance would be very helpful!

Check if you're not using an old Windows installation mode. If you have Windows 11, it's likely a UEFI setup unless you manually installed Windows 11. For Windows 10, execute `$env:firmware_type` in PowerShell to confirm the firmware version.

Are there several storage devices connected to your computer? UEFI settings might slow down checking each one for an operating system.

It's typical for there to be four drives in total. This usually occurs when multiple storage options are available. Having a boot drive selected doesn't change the number of drives, but it ensures the system uses that specific drive for booting. Let me know if you need further clarification!

Adjusted the settings to exclude all potential choices.
You’ve discovered how to prevent it from scanning every option.

It seems you're choosing between accepting extended loading periods or forgoing a resizable interface.

Are they SATA HDDs or SSDs? You might attempt to remove all drives except the boot drive and check if the boot problem resolves. If it does, the issue could be a faulty cable—plug in drives until the problem appears and switch to another cable if needed.

There are two HDDs connected in RAID 1. I changed the cables and adjusted the ports on the motherboard, but the issue persisted. After removing them, the computer started up quickly and normally.
