Critical network problem detected, urgent assistance needed.
Hey there, friend. I'm from the Netherlands and I'm in Singapore, where everything works smoothly. My gaming rig is an i5-9400f with a GTX 1070 and 16GB RAM. I've been having lag issues with CS:GO and Valorant. Being close to the router didn't fix it either. Even after moving everything to the dining room, the speed and latency stayed the same. I reset all my game settings to defaults but nothing changed. I know I'm using a 1300Mbps TP-link USB dongle. Thanks for taking the time to read this—it really means a lot.
P.S the delay happens every 1-2 minutes for about 10 seconds. Your character repeatedly moves back to its old spot, or when I switch from a gun to a knife, it freezes and returns to the gun.
Attempt to use Ethernet, but if the problem continues it's probably your ISP, not your device.
Thanks! I know exactly what you mean. It's really far from the router, and I can't get the cable over here.
You can manage an ethernet cable over 100 meters. There’s a distinction between simply being unable and having a strong desire to fix it. Also, there’s no immediate pressure here. What will happen if you don’t address this soon—school, job, or injury?
Thanks for your reply. The problem has been happening for a while now, and I'm getting frustrated. I really want to move past it as quickly as possible. Sure, you can cut the cable 100 meters, but since my family is in a rented place, I can't hammer anything or walk on the floor. It's just not practical. Appreciate your understanding!
