Hello, long-time visitor here. Thought it was time to put together a summary for this query. In the latest six editors, Linus uses the same Windows image across all PCs, complete with many pre-installed applications. Seeing this made me think about ways to boost efficiency and cut down on repetitive installations. I already have a batch file containing all the necessary programs that I run on company Windows after a fresh OS setup, but having everything ready on the ISO felt ideal. However, after some research, I was let down—my command prompt skills aren’t strong, and the tutorials I found weren’t very detailed. That’s why I reached out for guidance on creating Windows images. Since I have volume licensing, that shouldn’t be an issue. I just need an ISO with the newest Windows version (downloadable from VLSC) that includes my programs and isn’t tied to any specific hardware, given my diverse office machines. Thanks ahead!

The process involves using sysprep in audit mode to prepare your system. You might want to explore how to apply a tailored image to your company devices, though the full 5-part guide could offer valuable insights for creating a customized ISO. Alternatively, you can jump straight to sections 4 and 5 that detail sysprep and capture steps. A well-crafted install.wim file can be quite useful—enjoy the process!

It looks great! Does it fit your multi-step setup? Your ERP system needs a specific sequence, so make sure the process matches its requirements.
